About Adirondack Lynx
With all of the men’s semi-pro & pro sports teams that have established themselves in upstate New York region over the years, the Lynx take great pride in being able to offer women and youth players high level sporting opportunities. The goal of the Adirondack franchise is to elevate the level of girl's and women's soccer in the region by providing them with the chance to watch & play at the highest level. The Lynx finished 2006, their inaugural WPSL campaign in the league, with a 7-3 league record, exceeding expectations. The 2007 team finished the season 6-4 and narrowly missed the play-offs. In their last four matches the team went undefeated and outscored its opponents 14-2. 2008 saw the Lynx slip to a 2-8-2 season and will be looking to add strength to their roster and improve on this finish in the coming 2009 season.
