Goalkeeper

Ben Wirtschafter AC Diablos 94
The pick of the goalkeepers expanded his frame to reach out and save balls coming in at all angles and speeds. Wirtschafter also communicated well with his defense, always on hand to provide encouragement and support to his defense. The player of the match in the Championship Final.

Defenders

Sonimi Halliday AC Diablos 94
Halliday, a well established defender for the Diablos demonstrated a level of consistency that made him a stand-out to all coaches over the summer. A great reader of the game, Halliday often made telling and crucial interceptions, constantly interrupting the flow of the opposition.

Shun Akai Long Island Albertson Academy
Akai, a versatile player for the Academy did well to control his 6ft frame to show nice cutting moves to get himself of tight corners, often coming away with possession when it seemed certain he was to loose it.

Jason Bleacher Lancaster Inferno
Bleacher proved a strong and determined player who would never shy away from a challenge. Especially strong in the air, Bleacher proved a great attacking threat from corners and free kicks as well as in making defensive plays

Midfielders

Mike Lupinetti AC Diablos 95
A committed player, Lupinetti did his best work off the ball for the Diablos; chasing the ball and pressure opponents all over the field, appearing never to run out of energy. Lupinetti’s work rate and dedication to the team made him a standout player for the Diablos.

Jason Speiker AC Diablos 94
Lightning quick, Speiker’s speed made him a key player for the Diablos. Once in possession, Speiker’s speed allowed the Diablos to play good counter attacking soccer.

Ryan Bertrando Lancaster Inferno
A strong central midfielder, Bertrando is the heart and soul of the Classics team, controlling the flow of the game and winning every 50/50 ball.

Kyle Bitterman Lancaster Inferno
Talented central midfielder with great vision and skill, Bitterman was the Inferno’s most creative player this summer and is credited with 6 assets and 2 goals.

Conner McMahon Morris County Colonials
A solid summer season for the strong attacker who posed problems for defenses with his pace and power. A healthy tally of goals helped propel the Colonials to the Final.

Forwards

Austin Webber FC Revolution
A player with great heart, Webber gave 100ffort in every single game, constantly running and causing problems for the opposition. Often playing as a lone striker, Webber led the Revolution’s forward line by example.

Michael McCluskey Morris County Colonials
Consistently good performances by the attack minded player who contributed to his team with a mix of goals and assists. McCluskey’s first touch and defense-splitting passes were top quality all summer.
