Goalkeeper
Jamie Botteon NE Mutiny A reassuring presence for New England, Botteon anchored the defense and gave the Mutiny a fantastic base to build on. Botteon allowed only 2 goals in the 11 halves she played this summer.
Defenders
Tina Weiss AC Diablos A popular no-frills defender for the Diablos, Weiss demonstrated a level of consistency that made her a stand-out to all coaches over the summer. A great reader of the game, Weiss often shut down attacks at midfield, enabling the Diablos to drive forward.
Morgan Fell FC Revolution A strong and determined player who would never shy away from a challenge, Fell was the heart of the central defense for the Revolution and was a leader of the team both on and off the field.
Mallory Fredericks FC Revolution Fell’s partner in central defense, Fredericks marshaled the back line well, making crucial interceptions and breaking up opponents attacks well.
Midfielders
Kaelyn Pizarro AC Diablos As well her speed threatening defenses in the YPSL, the midfielder also enjoyed a strong performance in WPSL action at the start of the summer representing the Philadelphia Liberty against the New England Mutiny.
Stephanie Litty AC Diablos Litty plays at a higher speed then most and as a result, was consistently creating opportunities for her teammates to score. Litty was often getting in behind the defense, showing some great dribbling moves in the process.
Alexa Freguletti Millburn Magic Constantly looking to put the Magic on the attack, the center midfielder scored five times from midfield and created countless more chances for her team with her exceptional passing range.
Gia Parker NE Mutiny From her position on wide midfield, Parker provided a constant threat to opposition teams due to her speed and agility. Constantly in 1v1 situations, Parker would consistently beat her defender before delivering excellent and dangerous crosses into the penalty area.
Forwards
Miranda Haraghty Adirondack Lynx A strong and dynamic forward, Haraghty’s hat trick led the Lynx to a 5-2 win over front runners the Millburn Magic in the U17 competition.
Katherine McDonell Millburn Magic Leading the Magic on offense, McDonnell scored some crucial goals for the Magic to propel the team to the Championship Final. A strong, aggressive player, McDonnell also enjoyed time WPSL this summer playing with the Magic senior team in the Regional Final.
McKenzie Hollenbaugh NE Mutiny The pace of Hollenbaugh made her a key figure in Mutiny’s ability to turn defense into offense effectively; a characteristic present in many of the teams goals.
